Krzysztof Dragan

Phd Eng, DSc

Krzysztof Dragan graduated from the Technical Physics Faculty at the Military University of Technology (he defended his diploma in fiber optoelectronics) in 2001. He embarked on the technical career path related to technical diagnostics in 2008, carrying out a doctoral dissertation in diagnostics of composite helicopter rotor blades. In his scientific work, he deals with the problems of diagnosing and monitoring structures, especially airspace and composite ones. He is the author of a number of bulletins and techniques used in the diagnostics of aircraft structures. He was a participant and a manager of a number of research projects at national and international level. During his scientific work he undertook a number of specialized trainings in the field of diagnostics and monitoring of structures using machine learning methods. In the years 2005 - 2018 he actively cooperated with companies and research centers in Poland and abroad in the field of implementation of technological products supporting diagnostics and monitoring, among others composite constructions, wind turbines, industrial and energy constructions. Krzysztof Dragan has been involved in the development and implementation of modern methods of technical diagnostics for several years. In particular he developed expertise in the implementation of construction monitoring methods. In 2017, he received a DSc degree in mechanics and mechanical engineering.

At present, Krzysztof Dragan is the manager of the Airworthiness Department at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
