After 13 years in gas and refining operations, supply chain optimisation, economics and management, Kevin subsequently spent more than 20 years’ in executive level management roles, consulting to many of the world’s energy and chemical companies, as well as governments, banks and investment companies. Kevin was also Chief Revenue Officer for a privately-owned UK start-up business, manufacturing an advanced condition monitoring sensor for the energy industries. He succeeded in doubling the company turnover in two years, enabling the owners to exit the business via a trade sale. A chartered engineer and graduate in Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology from Imperial College, London, with an MBA, Kevin has been an Executive Director for more than 10 years. He maintains a passionate interest in the emerging trends and technologies in the energy sector and is a vocal ambassador for the transition to a more sustainable energy mix, decarbonisation of conventional energy-to-chemicals facilities and the operational efficiency gains that can be achieved from the application of leading edge (digital and other) technologies, including artificial intelligence and deep learning.
